Born in March of 2020, Meg's Voice Studio now reaches all over the world! The international, virtual voice studio serves singers of all ages from beginners to professionals. Meg's Voice Studio focuses on enhancing the voice, and guiding it in the healthiest way possible to reach its fullest potential! 

Meg is a certified voice teacher from New York Vocal Coaching, as well as a voice coach. Meg's Voice Studio offers both kind of lessons, the difference being a focus on technique or focus on song study. The studio offers exclusively virtual voice lessons. In addition to lessons, students are offered the opportunity to learn music theory at no additional cost other than the workbooks. Music theory is an excellent skill and it is extremely beneficial to the students' training. 

One of the most unfortunate parts about the musical theater industry and really, the arts in general, is the cost it takes to train in the discipline. Voice lessons are crucial for the health and longevity of all singers, but the price tag attached to it can be completely unattainable. Meg's Voice Studio is so proud of offer affordable voice training. Hello, hello! I'm Meg and I will be your new voice teacher!

I hold my B.A in Musical Theater from Temple University, and I am a certified voice teacher and vocal coach. I received my certification in Vocal Pedagogy from New York Vocal Coaching and studied under Justin Stoney. I am an active professional musical theater performer, and have performed Off Broadway and regionially in Philadelphia, NJ, and NH. I love to share all that I learn with my students!

Mary Kate is a performer and voice teacher originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia. She is a proud graduate of Temple University Musical Theatre, and the New York Vocal Coaching Voice Teacher Training program.

Some of Mary Kate's favorite credits include: Sister Act (Mary Robert), Footloose (Ariel), Mamma Mia (Lisa) and Our Town (Emily). Mary Kate has worked all across the country as a performer, and is so happy to work with singers on vocal technique, audition preparation, book building, and more!

Steven Crino is a composer and pianist that seeks to tell relevant stories through emotionally rich and intimate music. His music has been described as “stunningly beautiful, heartfelt, lush, and delicate.” He has written two award-winning operas, countless songs, choral music, chamber music and orchestral music. Steven actively seeks out collaboration with living writers and interdisciplinary artists.

He is a co-founder of The Circus Opera Company, an organization that synthesizes opera with dynamic circus arts. In addition to the numerous soloists who have commissioned Steven’s music, his works have been premiered by The Podcast Opera Company, The Boston New Music Initiative, and The Silk Ruby Trio. He is the winner of The Aural Compass Projects' Emerging Composer Competition, and the 3rd place winner in the 2021 American Prize. He is also the recipient of the Richard M. Duris Scholarship for Excellence in Classical Music.

Steven is an adjunct faculty member at Temple University, where he teaches courses in Music Theory and Music History. He received his Doctoral Degree from the Peabody Institute, where he also completed degrees in Composition (M.M.) and Theory Pedagogy (M.M.). Steven includes among his mentors Michael Hersch, Kevin Puts, Omar Thomas, and Benjamin C.S. Boyle.

Maggie McCown is thrilled to be working with Meg’s Voice Studio! Her recent credits include the International tour of A Chorus Line, Bombalurina in Cats, Babette in Beauty and the Beast, White Christmas, Mamma Mia, Hairspray, and Cinderella.

She is a graduate of the University of Alabama where she received a double major in Musical Theatre and Dance.

Lily Joseph is a singer, actor, and dancer earning her BFA in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Dance Performance and an Independent Study in Vocal Pedagogy at Slippery Rock University. She is originally from Orlando, Florida, but is currently living in Pennsylvania to earn her degree.

She has been training in voice for over ten years in a variety of styles including classical, musical theatre, jazz, and pop/rock! She has studied with industry professionals including Kristin Chenoweth, Celeste Simone, and Faith Prince. She is so beyond thrilled to be joining Meg’s Voice Studio!
